In recent years, we’ve seen a lot of offshoot finishes coming to fruition in the automotive world. Resembling standard color options, finishes like Frozen Black, Nardo Gray, or, in the case of the all-new Porsche 911, Chalk Gray exterior finish, they all pose a unique take on something that’s already been the staple of the automotive industry for decades: black and white. While mostly reserved for top-notch editions of high-performance models, these finishes offer a unique take on a car paint job and look great on almost all cars. And certainly, they can look great on any Tesla Model out there as well. However, there’s a catch: Tesla doesn’t offer them.

For this Tesla Model Y customer, the addition of a color-changing Chalk White finish puts the exclamation point on this electric SUV, giving it a unique exterior look. And while the end result might not seem that far from the look of the OEM Pearl White Multi-Coat finish, when put against each other, the subtle, albeit clearly visible difference can be seen. The Model Y build started with the aforementioned KPMF Gloss Chalk White wrap, followed by a complete emblem blackout. Furthermore, we’ve wrapped the side mirrors in black satin and added the XPEL Slate Smoke protection film for the headlights, fog lights, and tail lights. This was followed by the XPEL Prime XR Plus 360° coverage premium window tint, giving the occupants of this Model Y improved heat protection and fewer prying eyes on the interior. We’ve also added the OEM roof rack, a solution that will allow our customer to fully utilize his electric SUV in more ways than ever.

The final touches for this Tesla Model Y are the STEK DYNOflex windshield protection film and the whole vehicle is covered in a Gyeon Q2 DuraFlex certified professional ceramic coating.
